To prepare a personality on the stage of Sharp’s Felix, Felber says he was inspired by Elliott Smith during his “XO” era in 1998 and Nirvana’s frontman Kurt Cobain, especially for that first performance at Ivy House. “I am very boring and basic, but I always go back to that ‘unplugged’ in New York,” they say. “We refer to that a lot, especially meat’s puppet songs (Cobains are played)-Music in Sello, just that gum of that music is very correct and so dull and so. “In my head, Felix gives these songs a kind of Eco and Bannmen vibe,” Felber says about the singing voice of Sharp. “He is an incredible learner, and I think all you have to do is to meet someone in place of their taste.”
Sharp says that he thought of crafting a unique nature or signature trick for the performance style of Felix – Ian Curtis, Oasis, Hives and Julian Casablonus, citing motivations like Julian Casuals – but finally he thought, “Just play the song man, just play it, play it. And then whatever you’re not thinking about it is not thinking about it.”
