Noomi raps Woman -led action thriller is ready to act in “traction” Westand Films Is bringing in EFM.
The “traction” is directed by Loren Daro (“PAS SEZ”) and is produced for Elizabeth Bay Prodies. By Janet Day (“Close,” “Ghost World”), by Dennis Davidson and Simon Masle (“The Man Hu Noni Infinity”). John Gosier and Chandler serve as the executive producer of Hanz Lawn’s filmhej, as Elizabeth Bay’s Grant Hill, Eugene Koh and Clayton Hanz. Westand films will present the project to buyers at EFM.
The production is scheduled for starting in August. “Traction” is the first collaboration with Elizabeth Bay Prodiers of Dennis Davidson of Westand. And Atlanta -based Filmhej, after the first participation last year. Filmhej will finance with Elizabeth Bay.
The high-stake thriller follows Kate (raps), a former American soldier, leads to a human mission through a war-torn Chechnya, with his checch collaborative Magomede. But their mission becomes fatal because they inadvertently harass a young rebel, transporting a mysterious package.
Daro, who first worked as an assistant director, wrote and developed the screenplay under Laili Vachowski’s mentoring. “Traction” also claims “The Matrix” artist Steve Screws claims action sequences. Shakyra Dowling is the casting director.
Daro said that the raps “brings a lot to the character of Kate: Shakti, Vulnerance and Substance. I am very impatient to work with him.”
