new York Times Announced “Interesting Time with Ross Downs” with upcoming podcasts organized by opinion columnist Ross Dauthat.
The show will “find out a future that feels more open and uncertain than ever, mapping both new rights and new world system,” according to paper.
On the podcast, the Douthat will interview “major thinkers and news makers”. His show “will find out the power of right -wing localism, examine the revaluation of parties and forecast major changes in technology and culture where the society is led.” The subjects will include the effects of AI on jobs and relationships and religious changes in American society along with “the ideas and personality defined by the Trump Presidency”.
“Interesting Time with Ross Duthat” is slated to the premiere on 10 April, falling weekly on Thursday with a new episode, available on all major podcast platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcast and YouTube.
“I think there is a significant variation in the possible futures for humanity,” Dout said in a statement provided by the Times. “You have populistism in power. You have a multi -polar world, with business wars and races.
Douthats joined The Times in April 2009 as an opinion columnist. He is the author of several books, including “The Deep Place: A Memorial of Illness and Discovery” and most recently “Faith: everyone should be religious.”
The new podcast of Douthuts is involved in the lineup of the New York Times Opinion’s show, including “The Ezra Klein Show” and “The Opinion”. The most popular podcast of the newspaper is “The Daily”, hosted by Michael Berbaro and Sabrina Tavernis.
