“Ariel” tells the story of an Argentina actress Agustina Munoz, who comes on the island of Azores to showcase Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” with the Gelician Theater Company Vodora.
However, after a strange incident on the boat, she notices strange behavior among the islands. Directed by a mysterious girl named Ariel, the actress navigates a real landscape, where reality and fantasy spots create a vague, dreamed world.
The film is a Spain-Portugal co-producing that has been shot in Azorce by Filmika Galaika and Bando A Part. Patiño cooperated the script with co-written and cinematographer Ion de Sosa to bring ether visual to life. Artists include Munoz (“RARA,” Viola “), Ireen Eskoller (” The Girls R Elite, “” A. Sharad Burlin “), and Galician Vodora Company members, including Hugo Torres, Marta Pazos and Jose Dies .
