LJ Smith, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ writer, dies in 66

LJ Smith, “Author of”the Vampire Diaries“Books adapted in a television series on CW died on March 8 at the age of 66.

Smith’s companion, Julie Divola and sister, Judi Clifford confirmed the death the new York TimesSmith had a long bout with an autoimmune disease and died in Walnut Creek, California.

Smith was born on 4 September 1958 as Lisa Jane Smith in Florida and grew up in California. He studied practical psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara and initially worked as a special education and kindergarten teacher.

The first novel Smith was published, “The Night of the Soulstis”, a fantasy book she started as a high school student. It made a deal with alloy entertainment to write “The Vampire Diaries”. The series began with three books published in 1991, followed by fourth place in 1992.

The TV adaptation began in 2009 and continued until 2017. Nina Dobrev starred as Elena Gilbert, who holds the eyes of Vampayers Damon Salvatore (Ian Somarhander) and Stephen Salvatore (Paul Wesley).

Although Smith had only got a small progress for the first few books in the “The Vampire Diaries” series, but in the 2000s there was another deal with alloy entertainment to expand them with a trilogy. It was rejected in 2011, and the rest of the series was written in the ghost.

Smith later asked the world to proceed in a way to write a fan fiction from the “Vampire Diaries” world. Divola told The New York Times that Smith was “very hurt and outrage” when a ghost writer handled the series.

Smith wrote the young adult chain “Dark Vision” and “Night World” as well as “The Secret Circle” (another but short-term CW optimization basis). The author also ended a novel called “Lulbi” and two and “Night World” books before his death.

Smith is saved from his partner, sister, a nephew, a niece and grand nephew.
