But due to the strike by the actors, we did not start till March and April, April was the hottest month in Thailand. Local people said, “It is never hot.” It felt like an environmental emergency. Like a bathtub, sea water was ridiculous. There was no relief. It was really intense. There was a lot of disease. I was lucky that I did not get food poisoning, but I do not eat meat. Generally, it is going to get you before the vegetable.
Before we talk about the closing, I want to ask a logical question: If Greg is concerned about being caught or being recognized in Thailand, why would he choose the option of walking in a white lotus resort?
The illusion is that whatever happens in Thailand lives in Thailand. There are a lot of expats and people whose stories are not really told. This is a silent agreement that no one makes inquiries. Have you written for yourself the justification for the works of Greg?
I did it. I have a script in my binder, and I flip pages and write stories. I write stories about the past of Greg, about how he meets Chloe, how he usually sees people. He is a falsehood.
