“A real pain” follows a strange couple of two cousins as they are on a Jewish heritage tour in Poland to honor their late grandmother. It is a thoughtful character study that is cheerful and heartbreaking in equal parts, so it is no surprise that Eisenberg has won more than a dozen over the awards circuit for its screenplay.
Founder and CEO Michael Bloom says that there is a creative environment facilitated to develop scripts like Easenberg, why was the subject studio actually created. “When I started the company, my goal was to return to the artists who were actually taking a step and trying to do the original work with ambitious or really boldly. This meant that taking opportunity on people and not only to betting on first-timer or upcoming artists, but also many famous people who are trying something new or different. “Those upcoming ambitious projects are” Mother Mary “with Dakota Johnson with Dakota Johnson and Anne Hathaway.
In a year where most of the decorated films were made outside the Big Studio machines, the bloom argues that the independent production allows for the pure artistic process, free from red tape that sometimes affects large productions.

“The business model of the studio is really quite different. Those who are publicly trading companies are serving different masters, so the options they make creative and economically are very different than our independent company, ”says Bloom. “Because we do not have budgets that older people do, you are really forced to be really prudent about the projects you have chosen, and you have to be really clear why you are making them.”
The subject cannot claim a bank of Arabs like big people, but its personal touch saved “a real pain” during a hard production shock. “We lose some state funding, while we were in Poland due to a technical error and a procedural error,” Easenberg recalls. “The subject remained with the film and gave us a little more money to fill that difference. Unfortunately, we could not fill the entire difference, so the film was made for three and a half million, which was originally less than what we wanted. But the subject was very generous with us, and immediately called us to tell us, ‘We are still making this film. We will find out this. ,
Heller says that the important metal test was made only for a more compelling film at the end. “A film can be said to fight for your life and fight for its existence as you are making it.”

Therefore, for his next outing as a writer-director, Eisenberg did not hesitate to re-team up with the subject and fruit tree. “I have never worked as a writer or director in the studio system, so I don’t know how the exact experience is. However, I have acted in many studio films, and often the directors have heard only complaining about studio intervention that they feel as if their jobs have become useless, ”they say. “I have worked with some great screenwriers who call themselves ‘typists’ for the studio, because they are essentially writing. Eisenberg will also contribute original music to the new project, which is a music comedy starring Julian Moore and Paul Giamati. “We first went to the subject whether they are interested in it,” they say. “Ryan Heller, who runs a company with Michael Bloom, originally said that this is a film made for him. My new film is about the people doing a community theater show, and a year ago, the theme did the ‘Theater Camp’. … We had such a good experience with him through ‘a real pain’, that we were very happy to work with him again. ,
Bloom does not take that belief. “The truth is that, Jessie can go to his next film anywhere,” he says. “We are able to make Jessie’s next film, for me, a real indication that we are doing something right by artists.
