Spooler Warning: This story “discusses major plot developments in the events”black Mirror“Episode”USS collar: In infinity, “Streaming on Netflix currently.
The “Black Mirror” episode “USS Colister” was first streamed on Netflix in 2017, Christin milloti Questions are being raised about when the sequel will happen.
The original episode is divided between the life of Differental Real-World Video Game Programmer Nanet Cole (Miloti), which works on a large-scale multiplayer online game “Infinity” and a virtuous reproduction of StarShip produced by “Inflynity,” Robert Demons) from “Star Trek” TV series “TV series” Space Fleet “. Robert is stealing the DNA of his colleagues – including Venon “Infinity” CEO James Walton (Jimmy Simpson) – for fashion digital, passionate clones, which he forces to live inside his Nerad Kalpana of being a starsship captain. That is, as long as he mimics the DNA of the nanet, and his digital clone has made a rebel a rebel, resulting in Robert’s real -life consciousness in oblivion, as the virtual nenet and its USS collaster Shipmates are closed in an infinite digital frontier.
The possibilities of ending that ended speculation that the “Black Mirror” manufacturer Charlie Bruker-with William Bridges, was co-colored with William Bridies, to revolve the first sequel episodes of the ongoing anthology, to chronize the continuous adventure of the nanet and its crew, “Brux) and Kabir (Paul G).
In 2019, this speculation became a reality when Milloti says that she started talking with Bruker what the “USS Colister” sequel could look like. “It has gone through – it’s not an exaggeration – eg, 500 repetitions,” Miloti tells Diversity“How will we all come back to the same place? Should it be a series? They really detected each Avenue. At one point, there were many different versions from all around in my brain. It would come together and then separate and fall together. It was a real journey.”
More than seven years later, the final result, “USS Collister: Infinity”, Bruker, Brides, Bisha. Ali (“Ms. Marvel”) and Bakka comes as a capstone for the seventh season of “black mirror” written by (“Solo”); Tobby Hens (“Endor”) returns to direct. A few months after the events of the first episode, we learn that, away from Utopian Bliss, life on the Digital USS collar is serious: Nanet and its crew are forced to shake the avatars of real-world players for “Infinity” credit so that they can make sufficient funds for purchasing Ammo, fuel and food in-the-world. Because the driver’s crew does not have gamertag, the players start flooding in the “Infinity” message boards with complaints about bursting, which sets a series of events, resulting in the real -world nane not only learn about the existence of their digital equivalent for the first time, but finds inside the game.
The encounter is short -lived, regret: Back to the real world, Nanet is accidentally dropped down as James by a car, its owner, beg him with him that his game contains extremely illegal digital clones. With a nervous gams racing to save his ass by erasing the collar and his crew, the digital nenet takes the collar to the heart of “Infinity”, where Robert’s secret digital clone has been spending for years, which is building a new world to find players. After Robert prepared his case after Nenet, he agrees to save the collar – but only then he makes Another A copy of the nenet to be his permanent partner within the center of the game. To protect himself from the life of subjugation, Nanet kills Virtual Robert, causing a total collapse of “Infinity” – but not before Robert’s program sends the digital consciousness of Nonate to his comatose to his body.
There is a twist, of course: the rest is the driver’s driver Too Integrated into the brain of the real world nanet, they became passive viewers for their life. Milloti spoke Diversity Regarding the implications of the end, what it was to act with itself – and the “sick” part of creating “Infinity” that he enjoyed the most.
When did you first know that there was a possibility of really a sequel?
Well, the last five years actually melt together, right? Charlie and I always talked about it. I will end in London in the years after making it, and we would always get dinner, and he would mention that he wanted to return it. But I think there was a concrete conversation about it for the first time in 2019.
What can be said like those early conversations? In the initial interviews, you talked about the possibility that Real-World Nanet would be subject to investigation for Robert’s murder.
I am almost positive. It was at a point, and then I think it was just left, because it was probably too much.
What did you see other potential threads?
I think there were many clones of all, four or five of each – like, it got out of hand. I remember that one of it is getting a real kick, even if I am sure that the film must have had a completely nightmare. Not for me, I must have liked it.
How much did you contribute to the development of the story and where did it go?
Charlie was open to the numerous of questions and ideas that I had really trying to find through emotional medium how two nantates are equal, and how different they are, and to express it in the best way. I was never the case, “what if it is it“This is too much.
What kind of questions did you have?
Time kept shifting, like, sometimes it would have happened a few weeks later, sometimes after a year. I think he was like finding what would be the exact timeline. So my questions will be based on how much time it is in this world, and how much she knows, and how much doubt she has? As she was changing things, I was just trying to handle it as well as I could.
What did you do, where did it finally land? Because there is a reversal of expectations: the first episode ends with this feeling of hope and probability for the cellist crew, and it suggests that their life is very terrible.
I don’t think I had a strong opinion, in any way. I just started feeling so, oh, wow, it’s not like life, that wherever you go, you are there. And when I think Nnett in the virtual world is still drawing the things that can be imagined quite literally in the real world, still she is still to deal with the existing equal parts in the world: disappointment that you are not better in your job, then disappointment on those people with whom you want to work, the desire to understand something that you can understand that is unnatural. I thought that was interesting.
How did you distinguish your performance between virtual nenet and real world nonate?
Some of it is physical. Their currencies are different. But I wanted to be subtle, their life is very different, but it has not been done He More time. The virtual nenet is very smart and villi, but she is still in these derogatory circumstances that she never thought that she would not be able to find herself inside. So when she definitely jumps out of the office nanet and bounds in terms of confidence and is ready to be ready for unimaginable situations at any moment. When they finally meet each other, I get interesting ways, in which someone praises the other and the other seems disappointed, which I think when you hear your own voice recording, or you watch a video of yourself, and you like, and you like, and you like, “he is What is there?! ,
Did you ever work with you before?
Yes, I have “Made for Love” in season 2 of me, (Max Series), which is rotting somewhere in a vault for my chagarine. I do not know why they will not put it anywhere. So I have worked with me before. It is really crazy.
What is that process? Do you have a priority about how you wanted to go about it?
This is so technical, which I found equal parts attractive and contagious. We worked with a very special type of camera for those scenes, and you have to match physically as you did as another person, so your brain is hot at the end of the day. It looks like a modem that has to be placed on ice. One of the things I like the most about being an actor is interacting with other actors, and to see where it takes us. It is really strange to do so with the memory of what you have done a few hours ago. It is completely different skills, like people who have a lot of work with green screen.
Nanet kills the virtual Robert Daily with his own formal knife through his skull. Did it seem that in the first episode, Robert persecuted him so much, he must have completed his character with him?
I loved shooting. It touches what the first ones did, you can also feel a deep well of sympathy for anyone, and it does not condemn their actions. I think your heart broke in this episode for him. This is a metaphor for capitalism, the way he is sentenced to make materials all the time, and how it makes someone crazy. it’s never enough. He thinks that he is entitled to be a partner and, I do not know, while reading that scene, I was very heartbroken. Of course, we all deserve it, and so far someone has to do this against their will – this is what happened in the first episode. It is like a meta, like, oh my God, here we walk again.
I shouted when the real world Nanet collided with a car. how did you feel about it?
I loved it, but I am a sick with accessories like this. It was also a complex stunt and camera thing, so we kept watching (playback) to ensure that it did it. Usually, I can’t see myself. I can’t go near a monitor. I can’t hear the playback of my voice. It just bothers me full body. But I was able to see that back. This made me frightened, and made me laugh. I don’t know if it is going to make you laugh, but it is very unexpected and harsh.
Finally, the end leaves open a dull question that what will happen to the collar crew that they are now trapped in Nanet’s brain. Do you think a part 3 is possible?
well it depends. Is this a form of his which is able to remain a captain forever in a strange, twisted way? Does it start to turn him into someone who does not want to be in where he is in his head, and is never completely alone and is able to maintain power in any way? It does not seem that she is working hard to get them out of there.
Will you do a part 3?
We have not talked about it, but I trust Charlie’s brain. If he feels that there is another possibility, I would like to talk to him about it.
