Paradise City Sales and WME Independent are forming a team to co-co-contest “Homebound”, directed by the acclaimed Indian director Neeraj Gaywan Cannes in the United Nations of its world premiere.
“Homebound” followed Ghaywan for a long time for his feature debut “Masan”, which had premiered in a certain relationship with the United Nations in 2015 and a highlight, which won both the FIPRESCI Award and Avenir Award.

“Homebound” revolves around two childhood friends from a small North Indian village, which chases a police job that promises him the dignity they have been refusing for a long time. But as they inch their dreams close to their dreams, the growing frustration has threatened the bond that puts them together.
Martin Scorses, who always made world cinema champions and joined the film as an executive producer, said that “Neeraj has made a beautifully prepared film which is an important contributor to Indian cinema.”
Ghaywan described “homebound” as a deep personal story about friendship, dignity and existence. The director said, “It is about those who are often ignored, and calm strengths that they take into a world that rarely stops for them.”

A major distribution company advertising in Paris will release the film in Vitam France. Paradise City sales will start international sales in ear, while WME will repeat independent America
