Alamo Drafthouse Strike ends all all employees prepared

Alamo Drafthouse New York City workers ended their 58-day strike after reaching an agreement with the management of the Dine-in cinema series.

Employees from Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn locations announced that their union had successfully signed a deal in which all kept employees would be resumed. The Sangh went on strike in mid -February after months of bargaining with management on major issues such as scheduling, wages and security concerns. The agreement reached on Sunday will restore about 70 workers who were allowed to go. The Sangh said that it will also restore the time, sick days, seniority and date of fare of those employees. Mara employees will resume work on Friday.

Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn are organized in Alamo Drafthouse workers with United Auto Workers Local 2179. (Alamo St. operates a third New York City site in the island, which is not federal.) Employees went on strike on 14 February after accusing the theater series.

Alamo Drafthhouse has refused to comment on the attacks, but sources at that time stated that they were part of the seasonal recession in the trimmed multiplex. Cinema chains typically do staff around the crystamastime holidays and then shed the additional workforce after the attendance stalls in the early winter months of the new year.
