‘A Quit Love’ raised by Taskovski Films

Taskovski Films Has raised sales rights Gary Keen“Ek quiet love”, which will have its own world premiere in the Oscar-Kwalifiing Documentary Festival Dock Edge in New Zealand.

In the film, three deaf couples share their love stories: a decades of romance in a religious partition, an LGBTQI+ couple navigate paternity with deaf and listening children, and a deaf boxer and his listening partner face a life-changing choice. The film is described as “cinematic celebrations of flexibility, connection and permanent love”.

Irena Taskowski, CEO and head of the acquisition at Taskovski Films, said: “At one time, the story of the upliftment of connections between the defaults is the story of the upliftment – between the deaf and the deaf and the hearing communities, between religious and cultural lines, and within LGBTQI+ families. The film is produced by Anne Hefernen in Curious North Productions and Sean Hurlyh. Co-producers are John Webster and Uldis Cekulis.
