Washon Film Institute, dedicated to promote independent film production in Pacific Northwest, has announced the film slate for its fourth annual Washon Island Film Festival. The festival is scheduled for 7-10 August, where nine features and 15 shorts will screen in the washon theater. The festival will open with the screening of the opening night film “The Balanets”, which will be out of the competition.
