The project marks an important career pivot for Pandey, which has established itself as one of the most famous commercial directors in India. He attains the distinction of being the first Asian Filmmaker shown in the list of the 100 most influential advertising filmmakers worldwide, with the identity of his work in the Kanses Lions, Cleo Awards and D&AD.

Vaibhav Vishal (Sony’s “Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story,” Netflix’s “Rana Naidu”) wrote to the script, which combines the modern story with culturally inherent fiction elements, described by filmmakers as “Mass Contemporary Perceptive Thriller” style.

For Pandey, the decision to find the correct project is the decision to move to the features. He said, “The kind of stories I really enjoy in the advertisement is, that is why I have not done a feature film yet,” he said. “So if I have to take a short break from advertisements after casting, it was clear to me that it would be a story that is really complicated and I am contrary to anything I saw earlier. So when Atul shared it with me, I knew it was one.”
