Bad news for Paul Simon Fan.
Shared in a post Simon’s Instagram account On Saturday, it was announced that Simon canceled the performance of Saturday and Sunday at the Philadelphia Academy of Music due to the ongoing issue with his back.
“Sadly, Paul Simon will have to cancel two shows tonight on June 28 and last night on 19 June – at the music academy of Philadelphia,” Read the post. “Paul is struggling with chronic and acute back pain. Today it has become unbearable and demands immediate attention.”
The post continued, “Unfortunately we have to cancel these shows at this time, as we do not have the ability to revive them. However, we are hopeful after this minor surgical process that has been determined in the next few days, we will be able to fulfill these dates along with completing the Paul tour.”
The post said that full refunds will be provided to those who buy tickets in advance for the show.
Simon, who is currently on his “a cool festival journey”, performed at the Philadelphia site just two days ago on Thursday. It was the first of the three shows in the city. After the tenure on the eastern coast, the tour is prominent to the Terrace Theater at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center on 7 July.
Especially given surgery, it is not clear how Simon’s health will affect the rest of the seizures. After stopping in Long Beach, California, Simon is ready to perform five-night tenure in Los Angeles’ Disney Hall.
