Turns Out Guyen was producing a busy and successful film career in Vietnam, where he was born, but left as a teenager (with his family in 1975 after the collapse of Sigon). Okay, perhaps it was not for him. But still, he was creating a good life for himself in Vietnam when an opportunity from an old “21 Jump Street” colleague came back to Hollywood radar. In 2018, Steve Beers, who worked as a manufacturer on “21 Jump Street”, was an execution manufacturer on “This is”, and was considering shooting some episodes in Vietnam.
“I was in Vietnam, so I had heard Bever about the show.” “I said, ‘Steve, come, I will show you around. We can handle the production service for you.” They offered me guest spots on those episodes, and I finished one, as he was particularly shooting in Vietnam.
